PAROS

THE DREAM ISLAND OF THE CYCLADES

Paros is the fourth, in terms of size, island of Cyclades.  Situated at the centre of 24 inhabited islands, at the west side of Naxos and at the east side of Antiparos. Paros has a coastline of 120km, port, airport, health centre, public services, banks, post and local transportation. Parikia is the capital and the main port whereas smaller marinas can be found in Naousa,  Piso LIvadi and Alyki. On the west side of the island at Punta beach, there are ferry connections with Antiparos island.

Daily, less than 40 minutes, air flights connect Paros with Athens International Airport. The airport of Paros is located at the west side of the island, really close to Parikia (7km). There are daily ferry connections, lasting 2.5 to 4 hours, with Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio but also with the surrounding islands of Mykonos, Santorini or other islands of Cyclades, with Crete, Volos and Thessaloniki.

Road Network

With a convenient road network, transportation to each part of the island is rather easy either using buses or taxis or by cars or scooters, anyone can simply rent to the island.

Public Health Center

Finally, in terms of health care, a public Health Center is located in Parikia whereas in case of emergency incidents a health jet is also available.
