NEARBY PRODROMOS… RECOMMENDATIONS

Very close to Prodromos and Perivoli Homes, you can go for:

  • Monastery of Saint Antonios, right above Marmara (really close to Prodromos) at the top of Kefalos hill. Beautiful route with fantastic views to the sandy beach of Molos, of Naxos and the Aegean sea.

  • Many sites of archaeological interest can be found in Paros:
    • Venetian castle, ancient cemetery, temple of Panagia Ekatontapiliani in Paroikia;
    • Venetian harbor in Naousa;
    • Temple of Artemis in Aspro Horio.
  • Kostas Roussos wineryis located to the area called Asteras, close by Prodromos. Excellent choices of white, rose and red wine whereas taste visits on a daily basis starting from 08:00 to 16:00 (Excluding Sundays).
  • Moraitis winery is located close to Naoussa. Taste of outstanding wine visits on a daily basis from 12:00 to 20:00.
  • Tsitsanis taverna, well known for local goods used in most of its courses.
  • Byzantine café/restaurant. Excellent choice in a quite alley of the village.
  • Kalitechniko café/restaurant. Really good option in a beautiful scene within the center of Prodromos village.

  • Brilliant fish taverns at Piso Livadi and Ampelas.
  • Breakfast and tasty food at Golden Beach restaurant.
  • 5 min driving distance to reach Piso Livadi and Logaras. Relaxing moments for swimming, cafés or restaurants or even for hiking around the coast line.
  • Picturesque village worth visiting. Easy walking to the small alleys for café or dining or hiking to the Byzantine Path, going to Prodromos (1 hour walking distance).
  • 15 minutes driving distance to reach lovely Naousa with its marvelous venetian harbor. Lovely alleys, several boutique retail shops, F+B and excellent night life.
  • Longer than Naousa, capital of Paros and port of the island. A must place to walk through the alleys and visit sites such as the Venetian castle or Panagia Ekantotapyliani or relax in several cafes, restaurants and bars. Nice place to visit also is Livadakia area, a few minutes walking distance from the port of Parikia on the way to join the sandy beaches of Marchelo, Krios and Agios Fokas at the edge of the Parikia gulf.

Need to go/to do:

  • Visit wonderful Antiparos rather easily from Punta beach, in just 10 minutes using ferry boats.
  • Kite Surf or Windsurf in Punta beach, the best Kite surf spot currently in Paros, with view to Antiparos to Paros Kite Pro Centre or Paros Kite.
  • Visit beautiful Naxos via several ferry routes from the port of Paros, Paroikia.
